🎭 Theatre Chorus is more than just a place to sing — it’s a vibrant community where voices come together in harmony, creativity flows freely, and everyone is welcome.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just love the magic of musicals, you’ll find a supportive, inclusive space to express yourself, build confidence, and be part of something fun. No auditions, no pressure — just great music, shared passion, and a whole lot of fun. Come for the songs, stay for the people.

You’ll learn new repertoire each session making it easy to drop in when you can. Theatre Chorus meet every second Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:45pm. Located in inner city Brisbane, the cost is just $15 per session with casual registrations so you can sign up whenever you need a sing!

FAQs

Do I need to audition?
No! Theatre Chorus is open to all levels of experience — no auditions required.

Do I need to be able to read music?
Not at all! We follow sheet music during the session which also has lyrics to follow, and we’ll teach your parts aurally as we go.

What kind of music do you sing?
We focus on ensemble numbers from a wide range of musical theatre shows — think big harmonies, iconic choruses, and show-stopping energy!

When and where do you meet?
Sessions are held every second Tuesday evening at Old Museum Brisbane, 400 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills. Check our the registration page for next session date.

Can I come along just to try it out?
Absolutely! Your first session is a great chance to meet the group and see what it’s all about — no commitment needed. Sign up today!

Theatre Chorus recently made its performance debut in spectacular style, taking to the stage as part of Andrew Lloyd Webber on Stage with Paterson Productions. Sharing the spotlight with the incredible cast, the choir delivered a powerful cameo performance alongside a live orchestra, bringing soaring harmonies and heartfelt energy to one of Webber’s most iconic numbers – Close Every Door from Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat. It was a true celebration of everything Theatre Chorus stands for, and an unforgettable first step onto the stage!
